The long awaited day is coming closer. Today we went to the Anshutz Out Patient Center in Aurora Colorado for pre op tests for kidney transplant surgery. We go back (Liz and I) tomorrow morning so that she can have an echo cardiogram as there was something on the chest x-ray that they wanted to see again. After which we will go to the King Tut Exhibit with Chris and Rochelle Castle and their family. They are taking such good care of us at their home while we wait for the transplant to take place. Very kind of them to open their home for us. I will stay until the 19th and Liz will stay around 6 weeks or so. I know she hopes to go home sooner, but that will probably depend on how she is doing. The weather is so wonderful here in Denver, warm, about 50 degrees. Balmy compared to 15 or 16 in Provo. Anyhoo! I feel very thankful to be able to do this for Liz and hope and pray that everything will be suitable for her from me.
